Feasibility study – new office building

RBA is commissioned with a feasibility study to develop a 5,000 m² plot of land in an industrial area in Berlin-Mariendorf. A business group intends to move into its own new building for office, call center and catering use. The future building will integrate approximately 500 workplaces.

New tasks – 69 residential units

An owner’s community in Berlin-Weissensee (2 built buildings + 1 listed building) has commissioned RBA with the planning to hand over, to remove extensive deficiencies to the buildings. The damage volume is several hundred thousend euros and result from building problems during the years of construction.

General planner – Roof conversion

RB architects + engineers were commissioned as a general planner with the attic conversion of a residential building. The roofs will be converted into new residential apartments. The contract includes the project management as well as all the necessary architectural and engineering services up to the turnkey transfer.

Bidding for GESOBAU AG

Invitation to submit an offer from GESOBAU AG. Following an advanced application procedure, RBA were selected for 2 projects in Berlin-Wedding and Berlin-Pankow. The project is about the modernization of turn of the century buildings in the inhabited state. RBA have offered general planning services. The planning and construction phases are planned by 2019

Ronski + Burke as general planner

Ronski + Burke were commissioned as general planners for the attic conversion in an apartment house on the Prenzlauer Allee in Berlin. The residential areas vary between 45m² and 170m². The apartments in the front house will each have roof terraces – with a view of the water tower in Rykestrasse and the television tower at Alexanderplatz. Elevators are also provided.

New tasks for an investor group from Singapore

An investor group from Singapore has commissioned RB architects and engineers to convert a 460 m² commercial unit. The property, a multi-family house from the 80s, is located in the green Lankwitz. The first plans provide for a family-friendly layout in 3-room apartments. Start of construction is scheduled for spring 2017.
