Assessment on school requirement program and feasibility study for school refurbishment & extension

Within the Berlin school-building offensive, the district authorities of Steglitz-Zehlendorf have contracted Ronski+Burke to continue with the next phase of a modernization of a grammar school in Berlin-Lichterfelde. The school was founded in 1970. The school has over 400 students from an international background. RBA will coordinate the participation procedure with all relevant school-parties and come up with conversion options (general feasibility study with cost calculation).

Conversion of Commercial Property

After a long vacancy period, a property owner found a new tenant for a commercial property in Berlin-Lichtenberg. RBA was commissioned to carry out the entire process, from survey, building permit, construction supervision to hand over. The conversion was carried out in accordance with the tenant fit-out requirements and the corporate design specifications of a large German commercial vehicle manufacturer.

Full refurbishment of a residential building from the Wilhelminian era

RBA was commissioned for planning, building permission specification and site supervision of remediation measures (flat roofs, cellar, facades, balconies, staircase, apartments) of a turn of the century multy family house in Berlin-Schöneberg. The building is located in a designated social protection area (Milieuschutzgebiet). 9 apartments are to be fully renovated.

School requirement programme and building committee coordination

Two schools (a primary school and a high school) on a common site require full refurbishment. RBA was commissioned for coordinating support of the building committee and the participation procedure for the technical implementation of the modernization targets and for the development of a requirement programme. The building measures are part of the of the Berlin school construction offensive.

Dry rot refurbishment works in residential building

RBA was commissioned for planning, specification and site supervision of remediation measures of a devastating dry rot damage in a multy family house in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. The remediation budget of 40,000 € needed to be increased to nearly 8times as much. 6 apartments were fully renovated.

Technical inspection of a hotel portfolio

Technical assessment of a portfolio of hotels, with respect to the refinancing of a loan. Reporting on risks and damages to the building substance and technical installations. Review and evaluation of the documentation relating to compliance with the legal requirements and cost calculation (CapEx).

TDD commercial portfolio

Technical Due Diligence examination of buildings of a Germany-wide office and commercial portfolio in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. Assessment report on risks and damage to the building structure, fit out and technical installations. Data room assessment, regulatory compliance check and cost calculation (CapEx).
