Senior Citizen Residential Buildings in Leipzig

Ronski + Burke has been commissioned to investigate and analyze the structure and technical building condition of two senior citizen residential buildings in Leipzig – one of which is listed as a historically protected building.  The survey results of Phase I provide the client with the proposed building improvements that will modernize the buildings for decades to come. In addition to updating the heating, electric, sewage, roof, windows, and façade, the recommended alterations include the creation of more single-rooms, the development of barrier-free mobility though out the buildings, up-to-date bathroom facilities and a comprehensive fire protection concept. For the upcoming Phase II, the proposed building improvements are to be awarded, planned, and supervised.

Ronski + Burke commissioned accompany demolition and renovation of facade of multifamily home

Since the construction of an apartment building in Berlin in 2004, a southern German real estate firm has been experiencing problems with poor construction. Roof areas are leaking, construction work has not been completed, the façade is now to be demolished for the second time and re-built for the third time. Ronski+Burke were commissioned to accompany the demolition and renovation up to the turnkey handover. At the same time, expansion possibilities on the property are to be developed and examined.

6 new roof apartments completed

After 1.5 years of construction: Completion of  converted attic roofs  in Prenzlauer Allee. On about 500 m², 6 new apartments, terraces and balconies with views over the rooftops of Berlin have been created.

New branch of a utility vehicle manufacturer

New contract for the construction of a new branch in Berlin. An existing building requires conversion. A well-known, German commercial vehicle manufacturer wants to build another trade port in the capital.
RBA is responsible from planning, building permit to hand over and has the taken the relevant experts (structural, fire protection and mechanical & electrical engineers) on board.

New tasks – 69 residential units

An owner’s community in Berlin-Weissensee (2 built buildings + 1 listed building) has commissioned RBA with the planning to hand over, to remove extensive deficiencies to the buildings. The damage volume is several hundred thousend euros and result from building problems during the years of construction.

General planner – Roof conversion

RB architects + engineers were commissioned as a general planner with the attic conversion of a residential building. The roofs will be converted into new residential apartments. The contract includes the project management as well as all the necessary architectural and engineering services up to the turnkey transfer.
